Pâté is one of Europe's foremost delicacies and appetizers (not so much in the United States). Made from minced meat, cheese, fish, or vegetables and turned into a spreadable paste. The most famous pâté, of course, is probably pâté de foie gras, made from the fattened livers of geese.
Pâté is a flavorful spread formulated for crackers, pretzels, and breads; usually for a quick snack, on a sandwich, or as hors d'uvre with a bit of wine. The particular brands we have selected are either entirely made of soy or from one of Europe's oldest and most respected manufacturers, thereby guaranteeing quality and taste.
